Water is life, yet water is inherently political. As cities expand, urban populations are increasingly in competition with farmers and industry for access to water. Hydro-hegemony consists of showcasing water conflicts from 3000 BC right until the 21st century, demonstrating how water is the lifeblood of ecosystems; global environmental change, particularly climate change, and is further intensifying competition among rival uses and users, leading to conflicts and war.

Legatum Digitalis

2022
Diploma project
Our lives have become increasingly digitalised. Despite growing concerns about the data we leave behind, only a small number of people are actively planning their own digital legacy, or know how to. Legatum Digitalis challenges the lack of awareness about the digital footprint we leave behind us after death and their inheritance, and speculates on future inheritance processes whilst providing a contextual, legal, and statistical overview.
